My name is Colton. My wife Sam and I have been married for three years now and just had our first child, a baby boy in June of 2022. Sam is a 6th grade special education teacher. At my previous job I worked at Old Hickory Sheds as a builder. We are both very active in our community, careers, religion and family. When I'm not working, you can find me playing frisbee golf, snowboarding, or shooting my guns.

I came to FHD because I was spending too much time at work, coming home tired, and wasn’t getting paid what I felt I was worth. I chose this career so I could spend more time with my family, stop worrying about the bills, and do something where I could actually help people.

For me, this isn’t not just a job, it’s a lifestyle. The habits and values that this career has given me, not only do I use them for work, but I get to bring them home. Everyone here builds each other up, and are all so willing to give everything they have to make sure that we all succeed and grow together. We don’t withhold knowledge or skills from someone so we can “one up them”,  instead we teach them all that we know. I think we can all learn something from someone else. I like how “transparent” we are as a company. Not only to those we serve but to those we work with. The career track is laid out for anyone who wants it. They can progress however fast or slow they want
