Originally from a very small town in Alabama called Beauregard. Started traveling all over the U.S. as a tour guide in the outdoors, during which I learned invaluable things about myself, others, and the world. I met an incredible woman and her puppy and fell in love with both immediately. I try hard to have a positive impact on the world around me by working hard, being funny, trustworthy, up beat, and communicative. I love the outdoors and outdoor adventures in pretty much any form, but I also chill on the couch with a good movie or a book.

 

Before finding the amazing opportunity at Elevated/Globe Life, I was working full-time as canyoneering, mountain biking, hiking, and interpretive driving tour guide during the spring, summer, and fall in the American Southwest. In the winters I worked at a skiing and snowboarding instructor at Mount bachelor in Central Oregon.

I chose Elevated because at the time, I was looking for a new career and was interviewing for jobs that would offer me financial stability and schedule flexibility that didn't require that I go back to school. After interviewing for mostly sales positions, I fell off with the idea of the team building and leadership opportunities at Elevated Financial. It was obvious that the organization had the capability to train me with the fact that they were going to allow me to train others was very appealing to me. It was also very apparent to me that the people I was talking to that were currently in the career loved what they were doing and loved the leadership.

The flexibility that this career has offered me has been very impactful. My wife and I have been going through various health issues and family loss. Since day one I have been able to prioritize being there for my wife and family when needed. No career in the past has allowed me to do that without some sort of consequence. I can't even begin to put into words what it means to say yes without any hesitation my wife needs me. The flexibility that this career has offered me has been very impactful. When I'm not working,  you can find me dirt biking or mountain biking with my wife and friends, cooking with my wife, or studying and observing nature. Three words to describe me are anchored, thoughtful and tenacious.

I would love to spend a year traveling the world with my wife and not have to worry about money just drinking in all the world has to offer.

Other than that I would have to say a big bucket list item for me would just be living a life of positive impact, while still being a great, husband, father, son, and community member.
